From misdiagnosis to diagnosis
Enduring years of illness, with his symptoms treated separately rather than as a unified whole, Wayne was told he had fibromyalgia. But something didn’t fit, and it was his partner’s persistence and research that led to a reality-redefining (life-saving) revelation: Loeys-Dietz syndrome, a diagnosis that has since become a family affair.
