Marfan syndrome is extremely close to my heart as my son, Archie, was born with it in 2008. Throughout his childhood, Archie has undergone gruelling procedures related to the condition, including a full spinal fusion in December 2020. He also faces operations on his heart in the future. We see first-hand the challenges that those affected by Marfan’s face, and would like to do our bit to help by doing this ride in aid of Marfan Trust.
We are riding from Sedgefield to Land’s End, then over to John ‘o’ Groats, before heading back to Sedgefield again. A total of 1877 miles! We are doing this without using any motorways, and we are either staying at campsites or wild camping.
We would be grateful of any donations to help the cause, which can be done though our Just Giving page, which is linked below. We will keep you updated throughout our travels!
