On a sizzling summer evening with temperatures reaching 29c, Janet Pedder and 12 of her friends walked 10 miles back and forth over 10 of London's bridges across the Thames raising a tremendous £1,025.00 in total, split between the Marfan Trust and Hope House.

The gang started at 5.30pm from Sloane Square and set off for Albert Bridge. After crossing it they continued along the river crossing Chelsea, Vauxhall, Lambeth, Westminster, Waterloo, Blackfriars, Southwark and London Bridge before finishing at the iconic Tower Bridge. The walkers then continued on to the Dickens Inn at St Katherine Docks for a well-earned drink. Well done Janet and Walkers!
