Give some of your your time and skills to help others. We constantly need people to help out with our office work and with our events. Support can be virtual, remote and/or physical.

We also are looking for people to support our communications by liking and sharing our social media posts and by blogging about their experiences with Marfan syndrome and letting us share them with our community. You can see some of our supporters' blog posts here

Recent Volunteer Experiences at the Marfan Trust

We have had some great support from volunteers in the recent past.

Natalie Rider

Natalie, volunteer administrator
When Natalie, an administrator in the financial world, was between jobs and on garden leave, she volunteered two days a week for the length of her garden leave to provide much needed secretarial and administrative support to our office team. This ultimately led to a more permanent role with the Marfan Trust and meant she kept up her skills in the interim.

Cecilia Yee and Family

Cecilia, volunteer admin support
Cecilia, a parent of a son with Marfan syndrome, donated half a day a week for several months to come to the office to help with fundraising administration: recording donations, thanking each donor on our behalf and putting stickers on leaflets. She continues to support us remotely.
