There is no pain without the brain, but when you understand how pain pathways work, you can begin to untangle them and reclaim your life. Our Empowered Pain Relief ® webinar teaches practical, evidence-based techniques to help you manage pain and find lasting relief.

"A one-session empowered relief provides clinically meaningful effects comparable to an 8-session cognitive behavioural therapy at 6 months for chronic low back pain."

Chronic pain affects 72% of people living with Marfan and Loeys-Dietz syndromes. It can quietly permeate every aspect of life, affecting school, work and emotional wellbeing. But pain does not have to define you.

With Empowered Relief - a proven, single-session, two-hour intervention - you can learn effective pain management skills that help you regain control, reduce suffering, and move forward with greater confidence and resilience.

Guiding you through this session is Health Psychologist, Dr Lorelle Dismore Ph.D who works at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Lorelle is a Chartered Psychologist with the BPS and a Registered Practitioner Health Psychologist with the HCPC.

She currently works as a Project Manager within the NHS and brings over a decade of research experience to her clinical practice. Lorelle completed her PhD on pain following surgery and has developed specialist expertise in persistent physical symptoms, persistent pain, cancer care, and lifestyle and fitness. She has produced peer-reviewed publications and has been invited to speak at conferences, reflecting her commitment to advancing evidence-based practice in health psychology.

Please note that this is a live, interactive session and will not be recorded. Attendance at the webinar is therefore essential for anyone wishing to benefit from and participate in the programme.

To help us understand the impact of the session, participants will be asked to complete a short questionnaire before the webinar to assess current pain levels, followed by a second questionnaire three months later to evaluate outcomes and progress.
