About Us
The Marfan Trust was set up in 1988 to fund research into the cause and possible prevention of Marfan syndrome, to educate patients and doctors about this condition, and to assist with patient support.
The main objective of the Trust is to support medical research so that more is known about Marfan syndrome and its severity. This will enable medical staff to treat patients in the short and long term.
All funds raised are put toward various research studies and informing patients and medical staff about appropriate care.
